The squabs (pigeon chicks) had flown the nest but the mess was still evident around these solar panels in south Nottinghamshire.

Although the actual nesting had finished it was certainly a good idea to get these solar panels protected as the surrounding area had got quite messy.
Luckily there were no chicks trapped under the panels so it was a case of cleaning up and then installing our super-strong weld-mesh to make sure the pigeons can't access the area again.
Pigeons will breed all year round and can have 2-4 broods per year so you can imagine the problems that returning pigeons could create when accessing the void under solar panels.
If you suspect pigeons are nesting under your solar panels, drop us a line - we work throughout the UK but particularly in Nottingham, Derby and the east midlands.
