Someone had previously had a go at protecting these solar panels but with completely the wrong kind of mesh.
Chicken wire is simply not strong enough to keep pigeons from nesting under solar panels. In fact it can create a situation where the pigeons get in and either become trapped or are have their nests held nicely in place by the wire. Either way, it's going to get very messy.
We were able to strip away the old chicken wire and after a clean-up, install our super-strong weld-mesh. It won't affect the operation of your solar panels but it will keep the pigeons out.
