These relatively newly installed solar panels were getting far too much attention from pigeons
The resident of this house in Arnold was getting quite tired of the messy patio and car - the pigeons were attempting to move in and they weren't holding back.
Pigeons can move in on your solar panels very quickly - bringing noise, mess and stress. This home in Arnold had quickly become the focus of many pigeons that had obviously been displaced from elsewhere. It doesn't matter what time of year it is - as long as they can gain some sort of access under the panels, they'll attempt to nest. If they do nest, the squabs (baby pigeons) can often become trapped and nobody wants that.
We protect solar panels (well the space underneath) using strong weld-mesh, that pigeons can't bend. Inferior mesh or chicken wire, will not keep pigeons out.
